If you're a retro girl living in a retro world, looking for the perfect retro wedding, you've come to the right place. In honor of National Retro Day, we've found some of our favourite wedding styles to give you a bit of inspiration for your perfect wedding day.

Start from the very beginning with some quirky retro invitations. A bit of retro art (the Benday Dot technique is great for this) makes you stand out - we love this one!

The best way to incorporate your sense of style is in your choice of outfit. Bright beautiful colours and rockabilly petticoats and tutus are great for a 50's retro theme (the bigger the better!) - imagine twirling on that dance floor in these cute tea-length dresses and gorgeous bright florals. Get some inspiration from Sophie and Ted's retro real wedding.

Arriving in style is an absolute must, and what better way to make an entrance than in a retro VW camper. Whether you're after transport to and from the ceremony or a fitting photobooth, we think this is the perfect choice. Check out Ruby's Retro Rides - they have the quirkiest original 1970's camper restored in STUNNING red paintwork and vibrant flowers.

Retro sweets are the perfect addition for the arrival of your evening guests. From space invaders to candy necklaces, white mice to gobstoppers, it'll certainly keep the adults, we mean...the kids...happy! You can either organise a help-yourself sweet cart (Bespoke Sweets and Treats have a great variety of sweets and designs to choose from) or arrange some sweets in a candy-striped bag or mini jar for wedding favours.

You want to make sure you capture all your guests love and well wishes, but why do it in a book? Why not grab a polaroid camera and get every guest to take a snap to add to your retro wall.

If you don't want to miss any of those special pics from your day INCLUDING the ones your guests take on their phones, why not look into something like Hashtag Printing - your friends can share their pictures on Twitter or Instagram with a specific hashtag and their photos are automatically printed as polaroids on the day.
