New Year’s Eve is a time for parties and celebrations, so it’s likely a drink or two will be on the menu. Many alcoholic drinks contain empty calories and provide little nutritional benefit which is not very good for you Wedding weight loss plans.

We’ve teamed up with Happy Brides Nutrition to help you enjoy a New Year’s cocktails, guilt-free, and keep you on the road to looking and feeling amazing on the lead up for the big day.

Much like tequila, this blog is best taken with a large pinch of salt! The more alcohol you drink the more calories you can consume. Remember to please drink responsibly.

Guilt-free NYE celebrations

Cosmopolitan (116 kcal)

40ml Lemon Vodka

15ml Cointreau

15ml Fresh lime juice

30ml Cranberry juice

Cranberry juice is a good source of vitamin C, which helps to support your immune system to fight off illness. Cranberry juice is also known to help prevent urinary tract infections such as a kidney or bladder infection.

Guilt-free NYE celebrations

Bloody Mary (150 kcal)

25ml Vodka

1 Lemon, juiced

1 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce

½ Tsp Tabasco Sauce

Pinch of Salt

Pinch of Black Pepper

150ml Tomato Juice

Tomato juice is a good source of potassium known to aid electrolyte balance, which can help reduce that groggy headache, dizziness and dry mouth associated with dehydration after a night on the town.

Peach Bellini (120 kcal)

100ml Prosecco / Champagne

50ml fresh peach purée or tinned peach

Peaches are a good source of vitamin A which helps support your immune system to fight off illness, also essential for vision, bone strength and reproductive health.

Guilt-free NYE celebrations

Strawberry Daiquiri (196 kcal)

4-5 fresh strawberries

2 tsp white sugar

35ml white rum

1 Tsp strawberry liqueur

25ml lime juice

Strawberries are a good source of folic acid which helps to support healthy skin and the nervous system. But beware of too much added sugar if you’re watching your weight.
