Last Monday myself and Alison had the pleasure of attending an evening held by Mr & Mrs Smith -the esteemed travel agency aimed at couples, at Blakes 5 star hotel in South Kensington. TV presenter Anna Richardson hosted the evening whilst we ate delicious canapés and chatted to influential honeymoon and travel bloggers.
Mr & Mrs Smith was created by married couple James Lohan and Tamara Herber-Percy in 2003 after a number of holidays spent at hotels that never lived up to the hype on the brochure. They created a guide book based on all of the things they wanted out of a hotel experience, published it independently and watched it grow into the online success that it is to this day. Mr & Mrs Smith offers over 950 fantastic hotels all over the world that have all been anonymously visited and reviewed by the travel team, as well as by visitors.
