Now that January is finally over, Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. It’s not surprising that you’re starting to stress about date ideas - you can thank us later...
1. A cosy night in
You aren’t the first to admit that a night in with a bottle of wine sounds amazing right now. Why not cook dinner at home, or even get a takeaway, and enjoy a movie cuddled up on the sofa. You deserve to relax and enjoy ‘just the two of us’ time.
2. Do something active
Why not use it as an opportunity to do something you wouldn’t usually do? Escape to the countryside and hire bikes or book a high ropes course - this will ensure you make memories to last a lifetime.
3. Dinner
Going for dinner seems like an obvious one but how often do you actually manage to get dolled up and have a special dinner with your beau. Find a cosy restaurant with candlelight and laugh the night away with your special someone. Why not follow this with tickets to the cinema or theatre to make the day extra unique.
4. Spa
You may think that this one is just for the ladies - we promise you, the guys love it too! Many spas are now offering a moonlight session where you can unwind for a few hours and just enjoy each others company. Any excuse for a couples massage, right?
5. Revisit somewhere special
Valentine’s Day is a perfect opportunity to make new memories but also look back at the ones you’ve already made. Why not revisit where you first met, your first date spot or where you shared your first kiss?
