La Capanna was opened as an Italian restaurant in 1978. Originally discovered as an old farm house in the Sussex countryside, the building was carefully dismantled and transported back to Surrey where it was re-assembled proudly behind the facade of an equally old 16th century cottage at the end of Cobham High Street.

The result is a large and spacious rustic restaurant which boasts a wealth of original features, exposed beams and high ceilings. Alternatively, you can sit outside in the covered and heated Italian Garden overlooking the River Mole… a quiet and magical place on a warm Summer’s day or evening. Guests enjoy a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere where they are well looked after by our Head Chef, Bernardo the Restaurant Manager, and his team.
