A Civil Marriage or Commitment ceremony may be held in the wonderful atmosphere of the Great Hall of the Manor, which dates back to the time of Henry VIII.

Your reception would take place in our Courtyard Hall which was designed and built to complement the Tudor style of the Manor with its superb oak beams and timbered gallery.

Hours of business

Sulgrave Manor is licensed for Civil Marriage and Commitment ceremonies. The Great Hall of the Manor House is arranged to produce a warmly formal atmosphere. The ceremony takes place at the great board with up to 75 guests seated on both sides of the "aisle" The room is also candle-lit.

We are willing to provisionally hold a date until a firm booking has been made with the Registrar.

It is the responsibility of the couple intending to marry to book the Registrar of Marriages. Sulgrave Manor comes under the Towcester & Brackley Registration District, and weddings are administered by the Towcester office.
