Prested has a choice of lovely period rooms for the ceremony: a beautiful light and airy ballroom, an oak panelled dining room, the elegant moatside orangery (which has a real WOW factor) and the charming little gazebo overlooking the moat.

If you want to marry in style but feel at home, with friends and family staying as your house guests, then Prested Hall is the place for you. This charming 15th century part-moated manor house really is exclusively yours … not just for a few hours, but overnight too.

The Hall has 10 lovely bedrooms, fine period reception rooms, a marquee in summer, a highly talented chef and a team of experienced and caring staff. Extra bedrooms are available within the grounds.

After a long and special day, your overnight guests can look forward to the comforts of Prested’s bedrooms and to having some quality time with you over a leisurely breakfast the next morning - the perfect way to end an unforgettable celebration.

Prested has a reputation for taking great care of guests from the very first phone call to their departure. Come and see the many letters from Prested couples, meet our caring and professional staff, and view this very special country house.

Next to the Hall, Prested has a health club and spa (with a beautiful 20m pool), perfect for some pre-wedding pampering.

All in all, Prested is a hidden gem - at the end of a long drive, in 75 acres of parkland, but amazingly convenient, just off the A12, a mile from Kelvedon (with its BR station - 50 minutes from Liverpool Street).
