A master of ceremonies or toastmaster is the icing on the cake for any partnership celebration. Dressed in the ceremonial red tail coat the toastmaster adds to the pomp and splendour of any event and brings with him experience of dealing with formal occasions, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the reception.
The toastmaster discreetly goes about his duties and provides confidence and a calming influence on the happy couple and their party. He is also an expert on etiquette and protocol which ensures that the members of the celebration party, who have roles to fulfil during the reception, do so in the right order and without embarrassment.

As well as time keeping, the toastmaster can introduce guests to their hosts at the start of the receiving line, announce meals, speeches, toasts and cake cutting. They will also help guests to find their seats for the celebration meal.
