Charles is a legend! We are so pleased he was able to help us on our wedding day.

We first met Charles at a friends' wedding, and were instantly struck by just how charming, professional and relaxed he was, so when we began to plan our own wedding we immediately thought of involving him.

We did look at a few other photographers, but, having met Charles and seen some of his work, there really was no choice!

From our intial enquiry onwards, Charles was in regular contact, arranging meetings to view his portfolio and discuss the details of what we would like. He hadn't been to the venue before, so we met there to go round with him - only to find he'd got there early and was already brimming with great ideas! This was really important to us as we didn't really have many precise ideas of what we would like, but Charles showed us a range of his previous work and made loads and loads of helpful suggestions. We would have an idea, then Charles would clarify it and make it even better!

On the day, Charles and his wife worked incredibly hard. They were always in the right place at the right time, but in a very low key, unobtrusive way. It is easy to see why people look so relaxed in the photos - Charles really has the knack of making people feel comfortable, and forgetting the camera is there. Some of our friends thought he was a guest, and, to be honest, it did feel like it.

Needless to say, we are delighted with the photos, and highly recommend Charles and his wife to anyone who is looking for a professional, friendly photographer.

We first met Charles at a wedding fair. We were immediately impressed by his approachable and friendly attitude and his photos. We met him again before booking and were pleased to see that even when looking at all the photos from a wedding (rather than just the 'selected' ones used by some photographers) the quality was consistently high. We also had opportunity to meet him shortly before the wedding to discuss every detail of the photography on the day.

On the day Charles made everyone feel at ease. He was friendly yet discreet. He was quick when taking the posed photos so eveyone didn't have to wait around for a long time. He works with his wife which means there is an extra pair of hands to ensure everyone is in the right place and dresses/flowers etc are well positioned.

We received all of our photos by the time we returned from our honeymoon in a lovely album so there is a no rush to narrow down our choices. We are really pleased with our photos. There is a lovely mix of posed photos, photos of just the two of us and candid photos - many of the subjects asking 'when was that taken?'!

All in all we were delighted with the service of Galileo photography and wouldnt hesitiate to recommend Charles.

Charles is an excellent wedding photographer; he is utterly professional, sensitive to your needs and is incredibly friendly. He had a lovely manner, not only with the two of us, but also with the guests. Completely unobtrusive, he took a wide selection of photos and captured the essence of the day. He was helped by his lovely wife, who also ensured that the photo sessions went smoothly. It is so obvious that Charles loves his job!

The photos themselves are beautiful and Charles was very flexible with regards to the package we received. Friends and family are still asking for reprints a year on! I would certainly recommend Charles to others and am very thankful to him for all he did to make our day so special.

Charles came highly recommended to us and he couldn’t be praised enough. As soon as we had met him we were blown away by charming manner and previous work. We had a great introductory session which made us feel really at ease and all our guests were extremely impressed with the efficiency and unobtrusive way with which he took the photographs. He even enlarged, printed and framed one for us which all our guests were able to sign, a fantastic touch that everyone was impressed with and something we will treasure.

I got married in Sept 2006 and used Charles as my photographer. He was fantastic, very friendly and his wife who helps on the day was also fab!!
The heaps of photos taken were wonderful and some very creative and imaginitive. Unfortunatley it rained on my Big day but Charles found places and ways for us to have some lovely pictures taken.
