It is very difficult to choose caterers as there are so many to choose from and we did try others. However, the decision to go with them was their efficiency, and ultimately the quality of the food at the taster – it was amazing. The menu is interesting without being fussy, focusing of flavours that work and good quality produce. During the build-up they dealt with all my questions and worries very swiftly and helped me relax as much as I possibly could. On the day everything went so well. The staff were charming, and helpful and unfazed by our drunken friends! The food was such good quality (fillet beef, served rare for 110 in a portable kitchen is not an easy task) and we had so many comments about how delicious it was. I cannot recommend this company enough.

We were at first bemused by the amount of caterers around but through word of mouth heard about Lamb Catering. They did an amazing job, seeing us right through from start to finish with no fuss and amazing quality. Everything was so elegant and they thought of everything. They were so flexible, providing innovative alternative options for those with different dietary needs. They made what would have been a fantatsic day into truly, unforgettably, amazing one.

Lamb catered my daughter's wedding for a 260 guest dinner dance. Fantastic food, marvelous service and amazing attention to detail. Wide variety of dietary requirements taken care of without any fuss. All resulted in a lovely wedding. On top of that Lamb were a delight to deal with - friendly, flexible and efficient.

From start to finish Lamb's service was exemplary. They went out of their way to ensure they really understood what we wanted and provided great ideas of their own too. On the day they were responsive and professional. The food was amazing. Several people said it was the best beef they had ever eaten!

Lamb was great at helping us plan our day and in finding the canapees and finger food to match our tastes. They were responsive to our requests and always available with suggestions and advice.

The "Family Menu" offered by Lamb catering with platters of food being shared at table was what initially appealed to us, and it was a huge success with our family and friends.

All of the staff were very helpful throughout from an initial meeting with Emma in our home, to an extremely enjoyable tasting of a proposed menu at their kitchens. Everyone was very helpful and forthcoming with advice ahead of the event and the presentation, helpfulness and attention to detail of staff on the day was exceptional.

It is always hard to choose suppliers when you first get engaged, especially if you are new to the field of weddings and everything they entail. Lamb Catering were recommended by the reception venue and after reading their reviews and looking through their website we decided to use them. From the first point of contact their service was superb, always happy to answer a question in moments of stress or to provide suggestions for timings and various types of fussy eaters. They were always willing to work to our whims and helped us to organise ourselves through the process!

Lamb Catering went out of their way to make sure that the day was as stress-free as possible for us, right down to the smallest details such as napkin and linen colours.

The quality of food and service on the day was fantastic - it was the breadth of the menu choices that really drew us to Lamb Catering. I would recommend a tasting although it will make it harder to choose as all of the options are delicious!

Having read other reviews, we used Lamb Catering for our wedding reception. Based on our experience, we highly rate them and thoroughly recommend them. For any other special occasion we would certainly use them again - they offer great value for money.

Their initial service was very personal and invaluable, discussing our needs and providing useful suggestions based on their experience. The available options were very varied and just what we wanted. The food was great - and they were also able to cater for specific requests, such as a wheat free diet. The service provided on the day was also very professional and greatly added to a wonderful day.

We had 130 people (including 30 children) for a champagne afternoon tea reception. From the menu to helping us to choose the right chairs, tables and linen and providing plans to help best utilise the space, Emma was fantastic in guiding us through the process. Offering advice and ensuring that we not only achieved our goal for the reception but improved on it.

I felt completely confident and relaxed from our first meeting to the big day that the catering was in safe hands. Nothing was too much trouble, we had regular contact with Emma who put a great deal of time and effort into the planning stages. Lamb have a wide range of menus and unlike many companies were happy to adapt their menus to our needs. The food was absolutely delicious - all the guests commented on it. They also catered brilliantly for the children.

Finally on the day the professionalism and service of the team were superb. Again many of the guests commented on how lovely and helpful the waiting staff were. That for me was the icing on the cake.

We have been impressed with lamb catering from the initial email contact we made through to them wishing us a happy honeymoon as we left our afternoon tea reception. Most importantly, their food, presentation and level of service was excellent. They helped us plan our reception such that there was nothing we were worried about in the slightest on the day, which meant that we could concentrate on the most important part of our day, getting married!
