I cannot recommend Barry enough. My other half did not want a video - he is camera shy and the thought of a camera man there made him feel the day would be ruined but he has not eaten his words over and over!!! Barry was so nice, so discreate and captured every moment of the day perfectly. The montage of the highlights of the day is also breathtaking - if you are in two minds whether to have your wedding videoed do it and pick Barry - my other half is raving about it it was the best thing we did as the day goes so fast.

We booked Barry to video our wedding after watching a friends DVD and am so glad we did! Barry was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. I hate having my photo taken so was worried about being filmed and that I would be very self conscious all day, but Barry was so unobtrusive during the day and as a result has captured everything so perfectly & has even managed to make me look good! We have watched the DVD a number of times now with family & friends and every time I notice another little detail that I missed before and every time it brings a tear to my eye. Our photographs are also fantastic, but the DVD just captures those bits that a photograph just can't. The day went so quickly it was all a bit of a blur so it's great to be able to re-live it. The music Barry has selected for the background is perfect and really helps to add to the emotion of the whole thing and the highlights section in black & white at the end of the DVD is just amazing. I really can't praise Barry enough and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is thinking of having a videographer. It really was probably the best money we spent and worth every penny.

Barry Weare is an exceptionally fantastic videographer, we are so so pleased to have booked Barry for our wedding day. I cannot get over how professional he was but here is a summary:
- always got back to me in a timely fashion with queries
- was so not 'in your face' about his skills and trying to sell you more than you wanted
- on the day he was a joy to have around, and to his credit was never in the way (and to even us when completely un-noticed)
- captured some staggering moments that we'd completely forgotten about (or just weren't around to see)
- seemed to be 'everywhere' considering the DVD we now have as evidence !
- managed to put the DVD to our preferred album (Million suns - Snow patrol). Barry hadn't even heard of them until I gave it to him. We were astonded how he picked out such perfect tracks to match the day without any help from us.
Without wishing to go on, Barry has a staggering talent. He has simply blown us away with the finished DVD. Everyone I have shown the DV has commented on how beautifully it all looks (and sounds). My husband was so dead set against having a video, and yet now has apologised several times at how grateful he is that I chose Barry to remember the day.
If there is one thing you invest in for your wedding day - it should defintely be Barry Weare ! He even captured the enormous rainbow that appeared in the skies as we ran into dinner as it started to rain...I am eternally grateful for his help at remembering our fabulous day.

We haven’t found sufficient superlatives to describe Barry’s work, but here is our best effort! We started with very high expectations – Brian is a keen photographer and Heather had to be convinced of the need for a DVD as well as photographs. We chose Barry because we were impressed with the reviews we read, the sample DVD he showed us and by his personable nature. As we wanted full coverage of the day, it was essential that Heather would be relaxed with a stranger in the house. None of this prepared us for the viewing of the first version. Wow, wow, wow!! We were totally overwhelmed as we watched the introduction showing the bridal party’s preparations at home – scenes that Brian wasn’t part of; we had asked Barry to use the theme from Brideshead Revisited and he weaved this into the action brilliantly. And so the day unfolded again for us on the small screen, recapturing all the treasured moments we felt and the numerous ones we were not even aware of. Ollie adjusting his regimental uniform; Heather’s message to Brian as she had the finishing touches done at home; Val and Karina positioning their bridesmaids tiaras; Chris and Richard greeting our guests; Brian looking nervous in church awaiting his bride; the friend who cried in church and then again; the congregation looking back up to the organ loft as the choral trio sang Ave Verum Corpus and Panis Angelicus; Heather’s son, David, wiping a tear, Andrew with a proud smile. We could go on and on, so many magic moments brilliantly caught by the film crew – of one! We were amazed at the different angles and comprehensive coverage from two cameras and one videographer – we still don’t know how he achieved this and yet we hardly saw Barry on the day and neither did our guests. Without any doubt at all, a wedding video is essential – a higher priority than engaging a photographer in our opinion. Our advice to any person on the road to getting married is:- 1) choose the bride / groom; 2) book church and reception; 3) book a videographer – our recommendation is Barry Weare; The best money we spent out of all the costs of a wedding! Are you wavering? Decide now - you really must have a DVD of your wedding! You will never regret it as you enjoy your day together time and time again. Just one adverse comment from our dog Robbie - he walks out whenever we put the DVD on! Maybe we have watched it too many times, or just maybe he is upset that he wasn’t there on the day. Barry was and how chuffed we are that we had the good fortune to find him and the sense to employ him. For completeness, we should add that it was very easy working with Barry. He accommodated our wishes and changes with good humour and patience.

Barry was recommended to us by a family friend, and from start to finish his service was second to none. We went to visit him at his home, and he showed us some work he had done, and instantly we were sold and knew we wanted him to video our wedding day.
Barry captured everything that we asked him to, and so much more - he captured parts of the day when i didn't even realise he was there! He was very friendly in the morning, and got some great footage of myself and the bridesmaids getting ready.
Barry was also creative in what he videod, and got some great shots of the garden, marquee and dance floor.
The music Barry chose was perfect, and he really captured all the emotions and atmosphere of the day.
I received the dvd 3 days ago and have watched it 4 times already... making me cry each time!
I would recommend Barry to anyone, he will give you a wonderful keepsake of your wedding day.

If a videographer is in your budget - book Barry! Our DVD is fantastic! Barry has captured our day perfectly (including the rain!). He was in the right place at the right time and captured things we didn’t see on the day. We didn’t notice him half the time but he was definitely there! When looking for videographers, there were a few we weren't sure about and then we met Barry! Barry made us feel at ease, showed us examples from other people and gave us confidence that there would be a fantastic result. And there was. We could add our own music, Barry was a 'fly on the wall' (everyone commented on how he just 'blended in' and he made us feel so at ease on the day. The DVD is fantastic and makes us look fantastic! :) The highlights section is perfect and one of my favourite parts. It really is a fantastic way to remember everything. Book Barry now! :)

Barry filmed our wedding at the Elvetham in January 2009. I had never been too keen on having a wedding DVD but a few comments during our engagement persuaded us we should have one and I am so glad we did! We love the DVD so much and have watched it many times already (as have our parents) - I think I could watch the highlights section over and over! Our wedding day went by in a bit of a blur so it was so good to be able to watch it back on DVD – the film captured the day so well that we felt like it transported us back there. So many details I had missed on the day, I was able to see on film. One common worry is that having a videographer wandering around can be intrusive or get in the way. I can honestly say that I barely noticed Barry was there. He just slipped into the background but also managed to capture so many moments throughout the day. He was also great to deal with before and after the wedding – always professional and quick to respond to queries. I strongly recommend that anyone getting married gets a wedding DVD and Barry is perfect for the job!

Barry was fantastic and during the day we didn't even notice he was around but when we got the video back it was just great. He had captured each and every guest doing something and the whole day was just amazing. Thanks to Barry's skills in editing and putting together the tapes the video is even watchable right through! We recommend him wholeheartedly and have just got him to put our video onto DVD, it is amazing what he can do - the music, the black and white the highlights and the montage at the start - it was money well spent and we would not think twice about a wedding momento like this (don't like to be morbid but it is such a great record as I lost my father only 3 months after the wedding!) Thanks to Barry, we have the most excellent DVD of our wedding, somthing which we will enjoy watching for years to come.
