Sarah and Toby - An Oxford College Wedding

Sarah and Toby share a love of historical buildings, which was the inspiration for Toby's proposal in the rose garden of a beautiful old Warwickshire House. The couple decided on a unique Oxford city centre wedding, using a variety of venues and grounds. 

After a traditional church ceremony, their guests walked to University of Oxford Wadham College, while Toby had arranged for a surprise bike to ride the newlyweds over to the famous Bodlian library for photographs, before joining their friends and family at the college. After a Pimms drinks reception in the gardens, they enjoyed a four course meal in old library, where the couple had decorated the tables with jars, candles and lavender. 

Sarah's family live in Ireland, so she was keen to have an Irish influence on the big day. There was a Irish ceili band for the evening party, which really got their guests on their feet! The whole day was a real family affair, packed with personal touches.
