Michael proposed to Louise on Mother’s Day 2014 with the help of Louise’s son Isaac. The couple began planning their vintage inspired wedding straight away.
Louise made good use of her creative side, making the invitations, place cards, table numbers and favours for her big day. She also personalised her vintage-style dress by sewing flowers that her friend had handmade onto a waistband. Louise and Michael exchanged their vows in a bathing hut - a beautiful waterfront location in Cornwall. It was truly memorable, with Louise walking down the aisle to Hawaiian Wedding by Elvis in memory of her Dad and being given away by her son Isaac. Music played a big part in their day and after saying ‘I do’ in an intimate setting, the couple walked out to ‘At Last’ by Etta James.
They headed to the stunning Pentillie Castle for their reception. For their wedding breakfast they had afternoon tea to keep with the vintage theme - a magnificent spread of coffee and walnut cake, mini cupcakes and scrumptious scones with jam and cream, all made by the wonderful kitchens of Pentillie!
