Alice and Matthew’s romance began when they met on holiday in Portugal. Five years later, Matthew celebrated their five year anniversary by asking Alice to marry him while they were on holiday in Spain. They married two years later at beautiful Nether Winchedon House.
While their guests were being seated in the church, Gospel Essence performed a mixture of songs, before Alice and Matthew exchanged their vows in an emotional ceremony. After the church vows, the couple were lucky enough to enjoy drinks and canapés in the sun at their venue while the Steel Pan Agency played in the background. Later on in the day, guests enjoyed treats from a sweet table and ice cream cart, before being treated to a traditional caribbean-style evening buffet.
Alice’s creativity and organisational skills helped her to create many elements of their day herself, giving the wedding a really personal feel. They decorated outdoor spaces with photographs of the couple growing up, designed a “pick a seat, not a side” sign and Alice spent countless evenings creating stunning indoor decorations. A highlight of the day was their delicious four-tier wedding cake - Matthew even took some to the airport before their honeymoon!
