Amanda Cross creates a wide range of original and interesting pieces of
jewellery using semi-precious, Murano (Venetian) glass and silver beads, and
freshwater cultured pearls.

bracelets and earrings in silver and/gold chain mail and various chain
links.
I will spend time with the client helping to choose the perfect materials
and together design the piece for any occasion.

Murano glass is made on the island of Murano which is one of the Venetian
islands. Each bead is hand made and some have either 24 carat gold leaf or
Sterling silver foil inside the glass which makes it look sumptuous and
sparkling. They come in every possible colour and shape and are very
exciting to use.

Freshwater pearls come from the mussels and, of course, come in many
different shapes and sizes. Pearls come in many different natural colours
ranging from pink to white, and then there are others which are dyed - and
then colours and hues are limitless!
