Wedding Magic

Magician's Hand and Playing CardsA wedding will be the most important day in any bride’s life. Getting the entertainment right is crucial to the overall success of the day, and close-up magic can enhance any reception.  Magic Circle member and frequent wedding performer, Anthony John, has compiled a list of the key benefits.

Close-up magic is intimate and interactive, so guests feel fully involved, yet unobtrusive so it will not overshadow the main reason for the day.

Magic is the perfect ice-breaker. Magicians will introduce guests who don’t know each other as they perform, creating that special buzz and leaving them spellbound with a great talking point!

Magic fascinates people irrespective of age and background and tricks can be presented to suit all age ranges.

Magic will fill the gaps while rooms are being prepared and when photographs are being taken, which for those not involved, can prove dull without any focus. Magic at this time is particularly useful for civil weddings, where the ceremony and reception are to be held at the same venue.

Evening guests often arrive feeling a little left out of the party. Mingling magic helps them to mix and relax, as well as allowing the afternoon to seamlessly flow into the evening.

Not everyone will wish to dance ALL evening and it is vitally important to provide entertainment for them too!

The wedding breakfast is often nerve-wracking for the main players, making last minute changes to speeches, and performing magic will warm-up the audience and relax those giving speeches.

Close-up magic is fully adaptable to ALL venues and, as a minimum of space is needed with no special equipment, will suit most conditions and complements other forms of entertainment.

Most wedding receptions offer the same entertainment. Being different will make the day truly unforgettable for EVERYONE attending.
