English Rose

Samantha and Allan opted for a truly English feel wedding for their summer Hampshire nuptials.

Samantha and Allan tied the knot at a picture perfect Church ceremony in Lyndhurst, followed by a romantic reception at The Mill at Gordleton, Hordle, with an English tea party theme, and soft hues of pale pinks and greens evoking the atmosphere of a secret garden.

The couple had chosen to marry on Samantha’s parents 39th wedding anniversary, so borrowing her mum’s original veil seemed absolutely the right thing to do – and it perfectly complemented her elegant Mori Lee dress. That wasn’t the only thing her mum provided though. The clever lady also made the dresses for the bridesmaids and flowergirls, as well as the cravats and hankies for male members of the bridal party!

Samantha’s hot tip for other brides? “Eyelash inserts are a must as no mascara is needed to be applied and then no worries if you cry... which if you’re like me - you will!”
