Photography and venues!

Hello ladies,

I have got engaged just before Christmas and have just realised just how much I have to organise and sort out!!

The two main things I need to set is my venue and photographer. I used to do photography at university so a venue being photographer friendly and the photographer themselves are very important to me!!

I am currently looking at Eynsham Hall and also Weston Manor hotel as a venue, does anyone have any experience with either of these venues with regards to how relaxed they are when it comes to this element, and also just generally how they are with helping you plan your wedding there?

The photographer I am currently looking at is Sharmaine Sepehr Photography, found through here. She seems to have a reasonable priced package and also a free studio included in her packages for the evening. Has anyone booked her before, or had an evening studio before? I like the style of her work so the studio in the evening would be a massive bonus =)

Is there anything I should make sure that I ask before booking a venue or photographer? I don't want to forget to ask something and then something goes wrong!!

Any advice/input would be fantastic!

Hi Tia

With the wedding photographer i chose she did a pre wedding shoot for me just after my engagement, so that I could see what they would look like, it really helped and I booked straight away after seeing the shots.

You sound like your doing great, what i found really helpful and stress free for my wedding was hiring a wedding planner! They do everything, from bringing you photographers, choices of venues, and then you pick and see and chose, and cake tasting ect. They will also ensure that the the suppliers are there on time and have a backup for you, so on your wedding day your only thinking of getting married; not the venue, the decor, the cake ect! a good one i know who's starting out and cheap is jaini curzon- 07977810664 or her website is jcweddingplanning.web.com and email is jainisweddingplanning@hotmail.co.uk, i think.

A full days photography is £695 including album and pre wedding shoot, of which you will be able to see the images well before your wedding day, so you can see the style of my photography, and get used to being in front of the camera, which I find to be very important on a wedding day, in order to create beautiful, natural photos.
