tiaras/fascinators/veils?????
18 May, 2011 06:50PM
Hi Im new on here and have been wondering if I coud possibly get away with a fasinator rather than a tiara and veil. I have tried loads of tiaras on but they all look weird and some of them cost stupid amounts of money. I have had a quick look through the directory and have a come across one website that seems cheap. Would be great if anyone has used any online shops to buy bits for the weddings.

Thanks

This is an item that really does need to be tried on! I was originally set on having a fsacinator and when I tried a few on they just didn't look right.

Before buying check that it can be returned if its not right.

I watched an episode of Don't Tell the Bride and she was given a fascinator by her partner instead of a veil and tiara and I thought, for her, it went really well.

If you have already decided on your dress it may be worth trying a couple of fascinators in the shop to get an idea. Although they will probably only have mother of the bride type fascinators I have seen in a couple of shops some bridal looking ones so it is not unheard of and will help give you an idea of what the overall look will be!

The only thing I did online was purchase my invites to send out for the wedding and reception so can't help you too much there although this website is brilliant for suggesting various shops that may be able to help and the majority have websites so you can take a look at what they can offer.

Hi, I have just started a fascinator website which has a selection of styles and colours. Maybe you could take a look and see if there is anything suitable. If you need help, give me a ring or email me and I will do what i can.

Hope this helps1
