Calling all Shoe Experts!
I have been looking for wedding shoes and am in a spot of bother - I'm looking for wide fit wedding shoes, and the only wide fit shoes I have found so far are hideous! The other problem is I'm quite tall, so I was hoping not to have skyscraper heels. But wait, there's more... I can't wear pumps because I have narrow ankles! (I'm a shop assistant's nightmare!) Who would have thought buying shoes would be so difficult!? The wedding is in October so ideally I'd like closed-toe shoes so I can wear tights or stockings to stay warm.
If anyone has any ideas I would be super grateful!

What about wearing boots for an October wedding?
I have strange shaped feet and a H2B the same height as me, so if I wear heels he will have to as well which is not a good look, so I understand the problem.
If boots are a solution there is a place in London on Saville Road (sounds posh but it isn't too expensive) called Duo Boots where they fit to your foot and your calf separately, and I think they do different width shoes.Boots would stay on your narrow ankles.
I have some black flat boots that fit me, unlike all the others I have bought. They were £120 and took about 6 weeks to be delivered. No idea is they do wedding boots but give them a try.
