About Island Celebrants

Independent celebrants for the Isle of Wight, Hampshire and Dorset. Unique and personal ceremonies written and performed to celebrate weddings, renewal of vows and civil partnerships. Your Day ~ Your Way.

Island Celebrants specialise in weddings, renewal of vows and naming ceremonies. Every ceremony that they provide is unique and written especially for your occasion. Island Celebrants tailor your ceremony to suit your needs and can add your own personally written vows or an extra ritual such as a handfasting ceremony, a rose ceremony, or jumping the broom.

Island Celebrants have performed ceremonies in all kinds of locations including a castle, an orchard, private gardens and on the beach at sunset. You are not restricted to a formulated ceremony in a licensed venue and Island Celebrants happily use their performance knowledge to help choreograph your perfect ceremony.

Most ceremonies they conduct are non-religious, but they have specialist advisors on hand to help develop ceremonies that include aspects of Christianity, Buddhism or Paganism too.

Island Celebrants are led by Jeni Law who holds a Certificate in Marriage & Family Celebrancy from the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants, so you know that you will be getting a high quality service no matter what your needs.

A celebrant can conduct a wedding, naming ceremony or funeral – but you should registered the marriage, birth or death at the local Register Office so it is legally recognised. You can read more about this in the FAQs section on their website.
