Based in Kingston upon Thames, cake designer Elle is a professionally-qualified Cordon Bleu chef with a CTH Level 4 Diploma in Professional Culinary Arts from Tante Marie Culinary Academy www.tantemarie.co.uk (where Elle is featured on their Alumni Page).
Elle has a Master Certificate in Professional Cake Decorating and a Master Certificate in chocolate work with UK chocolate master Mark Tilling. Elle has been trained by industry experts including world leading sugar craft designer Alan Dunn, sugar craft experts and top designers Zoe Clark and Jessica MV. Elle is also a member of the British Sugarcraft Guild.
With a (BA Hons) Degree in Hotel and Catering Management and career experience from her years in the hospitality industry in London, Elle brings together her huge passion for cake designing with her skills in creating exquisite flavours. This combined with her drive to achieve excellence is reflected in the feedback she receives. 'Designer Cakes by Elle' regularly features in top publications including 'Brides Conde Nast', 'Vogue' and 'Perfect Weddings' and writes the 'Ask the expert' responses of 'Your Surrey Wedding'.
When not in the kitchen, Elle is a devoted mum to her daughter Emily.
