GETTING MARRIED AT ST JOHN THE EVANGELIST <br /> St John’s Church provides a beautiful venue if you would like to have a religious ceremony for your wedding. Over the last few years the rules as to who can be married in any parish church have been relaxed and providing you fulfil one of the qualifying connections with the parish concerned you are entitled to get married in that church. THE QUALIFYING CONNECTIONS TO GET MARRIED AT ST JOHN’S CHURCHf<br />
<br />
A person has a Qualifying Connection with a parish if:<br />
<br />
that person:<br />
• was baptised in the parish. (This does not apply where the baptism formed part of a combined service of baptism or confirmation); or<br />
• had his or her confirmation entered in a church register book of a church or<br />
