Here at Guides for Brides we pride ourselves on the high level of customer service that we offer, so if your business offers great service as well then why get yourself nominated for our Customer Service Awards...

Brides will be invited to nominate businesses that have given them great customer service, and once nominated, businesses can gather votes and reviews to support their business. It is great social media coverage for all those businesses nominated and is the perfect way to encourage brides to leave those all important reviews.

So why is getting my business nominated so important?

“An award can be a powerful way of differentiating your business from competitors. It gives a distinctive seal of approval to your activities and is a sign of quality for potential customers. Just being shortlisted can improve brand awareness, boost employee motivation and help relationships with customers and suppliers." David Thorp, Director of Research and Professional Development at the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

The benefits of winning a business award:

Winning an award and attending an awards evening can be a great networking opportunity and can open doors to getting new business, as well as boosting staff morale.
Each award will have different criteria and will look for different things, such as innovation, business growth, strategic thinking, focus on customers and investment in people. They want to know what makes you stand out above the competition!

Finding and entering business awards:

There are lots of business awards available, but deciding ones to take part in is a matter of weighing up the time it will take versus the potential gain in terms of the prize on offer and the possible publicity.
Finding awards relevant to your business, such as The Wedding Industry Awards and The Bridal Buyer Awards can often be found by searching key words relevant to your county and business type, or by using social media such as Facebook groups. Other business awards can be found by looking on local council websites or the Chamber of Commerce.

Remember to use your award in the promotion of your business ― on signage, literature and on your website.
