Yesterday marked the first day of the 2014 Spring Wedding Fair season, a season that stretches from the first Sunday in January until the end of March, with just a scattering of Fairs later in the Spring. The Autumn season starts on the first Sunday of September, continuing into early November.

Fairs are almost all on Sundays; Saturdays are out of the question as they are the busiest day for most wedding suppliers. This is also the reason that there are no Fairs during the summer months, however inconvenient this may be to brides who are wanting to put together the final touches for their summer wedding, or to start planning a winter wedding.

January and February are the busiest months for Fairs; this quiet off-season period for wedding suppliers perfectly coincides with the time that most couples are wanting to actively book everything for their wedding, and most suppliers are very happy to give up a Sunday in order to meet brides in person at one of the hundreds of wedding fairs throughout the country.

Our wedding fair diary lists almost every UK wedding show, but if you know any we have missed please let us know.
