Yesterday was our wedding fair at the Oxford Town Hall with a variety of different businesses exhibiting and many excited brides to be in attendance. And what a gorgeous day it was in Oxford!
I caught up with Rachel - owner of Butterfly Bridal Boutique who were showcasing their dresses in the two fashion shows that took place on Sunday. She was very busy talking to brides but kindly gave me a few words.
What is your favourite style of wedding dress?
"The Column style. Very flattering and shows off curves."
Why is it important to feature in fashion show?
"It gives brides-to-be an opportunity to see the dresses on and not just on a mannequin, which is very important. Also, a great way for us to get our name out there."
The fashion shows were fantastic, with the dresses and models looking beautiful.
As visitors walked in to the Wedding Fair, they could hear the beautiful sounds of the harp, played wonderfully by Jennifer Hill. I asked her what her most requested piece was for weddings, and then got her to play me something a little more contemporary!
All in all, a fantastic day at Oxford Town Hall.
