Developments in technology, fashion and trends emerging each year have had a massive effect on weddings - particularly wedding dresses. These days brides have the option to stay traditional in white or wear something completely different in any style or colour they like. In recent years there has been a resurgence of vintage styles - particularly the Great Gatsby look....but what about more recent 'vintage' styles. What about the 1980s?\nTwo words: shoulder pads. These were a huge hit in the 1980s - giving women a bolder look and making them look stronger and more independent; reflecting the growing presence of women in the work place and society in general. In terms of wedding dresses, the 80s were partial to giant puffy sleeves which incorporated the broad shoulders and lace detail. Accessories were big and bold and hair certainly matched!\n
\nCelebrating the changes in wedding dresses over time are
