1. Food

If you’re going for an autumnal themed wedding, it is the perfect excuse to go for all those gorgeous feel-good foods that we love! Think apple pies and toffee apples – your food choices are a great way to reflect your theme.

2. Wedding and bridesmaid dresses

Autumn weddings just scream orange tones – so why not carry that through to your dress choices? If you’re a non-traditional bride, you might want to choose an orange toned wedding dress, or if you’re sticking to traditional white – why not choose orange for your bridesmaids?

3. Flowers

Choose flowers that bloom in autumn and you can’t go wrong. If you’ve got your heart set on a different type of flower, try and use autumnal colours for your bouquet to fit in with your theme. You can even choose autumnal blooms for your boutonnieres for a beautiful, classy look.

4. The cake

Your cake is the perfect opportunity to really show off your autumn theme. Talk to your wedding cake supplier and discuss the type of decoration you would like, we love the idea of using fresh autumnal flowers.

5. Decorations

This is where you can really get creative – think about everything that means autumn to you, red leaves, halloween, orange tones; and go crazy! Most venues allow brides and grooms to decorate as they wish, so have a vision and make it a reality.
