Horse shoes have always been considered good luck for weddings, and miniature horse shoes used to feature in bouquets and on wedding cakes.
So what about having a horse shoe from a winning Lambourn racehorse, decorated with ribbons to match your colour scheme and with a ribbon loop to ensure it always stays the right way up to hold the luck in.
The choice of shoes currently includes a limited number from the Henry Cecil trained Frankel and many other famous winners.

Wedding weightloss trial
Having an upcoming wedding in 8 weeks and wanting to lose a few pounds, I was delighted to be given the chance to trial the Yves Rocher food supplement tablets over a 4 week period. The course required me to take 2 tablets everyday whilst continuing with a healthy calorie controlled diet and lifestyle. Having a fairly healthy lifestyle and diet to start with, I did wonder if I would see any results from the trial.
The Yves Rocher Triple Action tablets contain 3 main ingredients: Read more »

Non-invasive cosmetic surgery
This isn’t Hollywood so most brides wouldn’t contemplate cosmetic surgery before their wedding, but wouldn’t say “no” to the opportunity to address a skin concern that has bothered them for a while, such as rosacea (red patches), acne scars, broken veins or a birthmark.
Others are more concerned about the honeymoon and are keen to find a permanent solution to unwanted hair or cellulite, or would like to explore the idea of permanent make-up rather than battle with waterproof mascara.
Numerous skin clinics offer non-invasive options, often delivered as a course of gentle treatments. Like cosmetic surgery, the treatment comes with a price tag, but it is great time to address an issue that has always bothered you.
And this one isn’t just for the girls – many grooms sign up for permanent hair removal, or IPL, to reduce body hair or tidy up a designer stubble look by removing hair from above and below the beard area.
Why use a professional wedding videographer?
Everyone will tell you – your wedding day will be a blur, and remembering it all clearly, even the day after, will be really hard. Will you remember the look on your fiancé’s face when he first saw you at the end of the aisle? Can you possibly remember all the lovely things your father and your new husband said about you in their speeches? Having your wedding filmed gives you a living, talking memory of that wonderful day.
So why use a professional? Read more »

Sun-kissed and sparkling
Honeymoon this summer? Yves Rocher are launching a great new product perfect to give you a sun-kissed shimmer on the beach and with an added sparkle to take you into the evening.
Their Glow-Cheek Stain is enriched with floral witch hazel and leaves your skin with a natural tan whatever your shade of skin. Its watery texture lets the skin breath and isn’t sticky, although it does make it a little tricky to apply. For a brighter complexion to take you into the evening, shake the bottle before use to incorporate the extra-fine gold pearly particles.
The little bottle is small enough to slip into a hand bag and it smells wonderful.

Wedding Insurance
You have just bought a £10,000 car, would you drive it uninsured?
So if you are you are spending a similar amount on your wedding, why would you not take out insurance?
Although rare, and of course extremely unfortunate, problems can occur – like the dress supplier going bust, the venue double-booking or cancelling, someone being taken ill or perhaps an overseas posting. For as little £45 you can protect yourself from these types of financial loss.
There are a lot of companies that now provide wedding insurance at varying prices, so make sure that the policy you choose covers everything you need.

Does it work? Yes it does!
Make sure your big day isn’t a bad hair day!
Unbeknown to many of us, our water can wreak havoc with our hair – creating rebellious problems that just won’t go away. Soft water is often the cause of static, flyaway hair that simply can’t be tamed. Whereas, hard water can leave tresses feeling dry with a course, dull, tangled feel.

Music aside the guys had a huge amount of charisma and certainly knew how to pull in a crowd and perform.
